Ever since I was a child, I have felt a strong calling to become a teacher. I now know that this calling is also very closely related to my love of children. It is my goal to communicate the face of Christ to each child in my classroom. I am a recent graduate of Franciscan University of Steubenville with a degree in Theology and Catechesis and concentration in youth ministry. Originally intending to teach Religion in a High School, I am elated to be in an elementary school teaching 2nd grade. What an amazing surprise from our Heavenly Father! I am originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and moved here to sunny Colorado in August of 2020. I am the oldest of eight siblings and I love my family very dearly! I love coffee, hiking, and spending time with loved ones. But most of all, I love to see students use their imagination and cultivate a love of learning.
